2023

Our first award of 2023 came from the Professional Adviser awards in April. We are delighted to announce that we are the proud winners of ‘Best Support Service for Advisers’. True Potential also came highly commended for the ‘Adviser Firm of the Year’ award for the North East. Also, we offer special congratulations to our wealth management partner Liam Wood, who was shortlisted for ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Industry’.

Our winning ways continued in September 2023 and True Potential are delighted to be named ‘Best Platform Service’ and ‘Best Platform Provider’ at the Schroders UK Platform Awards. The following night, True Potential were also named ‘Best Online Service’ and came highly commended for ‘Best use of Technology’ in the Investment Life & Pensions MoneyFacts awards. To finish our award-winning week, we attended the Money Marketing Awards and were named ‘Best Retirement Advice Firm’.

In November 2023, we were delighted to secure five awards at the Financial Adviser Service Awards 2023. We received Five Star service for ‘Pension and Protection Provider’, ‘Back Office Support Services’ and ‘DFM’. We also received Four Star service for ‘Investment Provider’ and ‘Platform Provider’.

2022

Our first award of 2022 came at the City of London Wealth Management Awards in March, where we are delighted to announce that we are the proud winners of ‘Best Online/ Mobile Access’.

We’re proud to have won three awards at the UK Platform Awards 2022. We are delighted to have topped the vote for Best Platform Service, Best Platform Provider and Leading Adviser Business. The UK Platform Awards celebrate excellence and achievement in the fast-changing world of investment platforms and technology. We’ve always prided ourselves on our focus on technology, which we believe provides simple, effective and unique financial solutions for our clients.

Our success continued at the Money Marketing Awards, where we secured a further two awards being named the Best SIPP Provider, and the Best Support Service Provider.

2021

We are excited to kickstart 2021 with the great news that True Potential Investor has been named ‘Best for Digital ISAs‘ in the ‘Best Buys 2021 Awards’ by Boring Money. 

Boring Money quoted ‘Performance is clear to see – investors’ primary questions are answered immediately without needing to jump into the guts of the propositions.’

We are thrilled with our second award of 2021, as we have been named the ‘Best Fund Platform‘ at the City of London Wealth Management Awards 2021.

Not only did we win that award, but we were also highly commended in both ‘Best Market Newsletter’ and ‘Online/Mobile Access’ categories which is a huge first time achievement for us.

In March, we were delighted to be named a “Digital Process Champion” by NextWealth which recognised the True Potential Platform as required the fewest paper forms at only 2% of all processes.

At the UK Platform Awards 2021, we were very proud to take home two awards. We topped the voting for both Best Platform Service and Best Platform Provider. What’s most pleasing to us is that both of these awards are decided by adviser voting.

We’re thrilled to secure another award but this time at the Money Marketing Awards 2021. True Potential Investments won the Best SIPP Provider, which is a huge achievement for us. 

The Awards praised True Potential’s Support throughout lockdown, technology advances, and service to advisers and clients.

2020

We’re delighted to be named Public Vote Champions at the City of London Wealth Management Awards 2020.

Daniel Harrison, True Potential Chief Executive, said “We’re delighted to win this award, especially when the recognition comes directly from our clients, thank you to everyone who voted. We certainly won’t rest on our laurels; we’ll strive to improve our service and help our clients do more with their money.’

True Potential Adviser Services have been awarded 5 stars in the Back Office and Support Services category at the Financial Adviser Service Awards 2020. We are extremely proud to know that we provide the best adviser support in the industry. The Platform Operations Team were awarded the joint highest score from Defaqto.

Another great achievement is that True Potential finished top of the Next Wealth Platform Leader Board and we’ve been named as a ‘Digital Process Champion’.

2019

True Potential has been named as ‘One to Watch’ in Europe in a list of business excellence published by the European Business Awards, one of world’s largest and longest running business competitions.

True Potential was chosen as it demonstrates exceptional achievement in one of the 18 European Business Awards’ categories and reflects the programme’s core values of innovation, success and ethics.

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards, said: “The companies chosen as ‘Ones to Watch’ are the most inspirational, successful and dynamic in Europe”

He continued: “The talent and tenacity at the heart of these businesses creates jobs and drives Europe’s prosperity. This ‘Ones to Watch’ list of excellence is a benchmark of success for the rest of the European business community.”

Our next award of 2019 came at the Schroders UK Platform Awards, celebrating achievement in platforms and technology. True Potential won the ‘Best Use Of Technology’ Award. To have triumphed is a testament to our commitment to technology and innovation.

Additionally this year, we are delighted to announce that we have been named as the National Winner of the Chairman’s Selection Award 2019 at the European Business awards. We are proud that out of over 120,000 businesses, from over 33 countries, we are continually recognised for our efforts and commitment to innovation.

Another proud moment for us as a financial business was being voted “the nation’s most popular advice firm” – according to VouchedFor.  The VouchedFor 2019 Guide to the UK’s Top-Rated Financial Advisers, as printed in The Times, detailed a list of financial and mortgage advisers who qualified as ‘Top Rated’ by members of the public using the VouchedFor platform. As well as being voted the winner, 53 True Potential Wealth Management advisors were singled out for special commendation.

2018

Our first award of the year came at the Platforum Awards in February, where we went on to win ‘Best Platform for Innovation’. Along with this award, we were also highly commended for Best Adviser Platform under £10bn.

We then picked up the Most Innovative Financial Services Group at the 2018 UK Enterprise Awards. 

Our next award came at the European Business Awards as we became the first organisation to win a European Business Award in successive years. This time we picked up ‘The European Public Vote 2017/18‘ award which we narrowly missed out on in the 2016/17 competition.

In September we won again at the Schroders UK Platform Awards picking up the ‘Best Platform Provider (AUM under £25 billion)’ for the second consecutive year.

2017

We are delighted to announce that we are the proud winners of The Business of the Year Award at the European Business Awards 2016/17.

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards, commented:

“These companies are Europe’s best. They demonstrate innovation, ethics and financial success and are brilliant examples of the growth potential for European businesses in a competitive global marketplace. Together they are creating a better future for us all.”

In the beginning of 2017 we were also named as Ruban d’Honneur winner in this year’s European Business Awards.

Now for the sixth year running, we have won the ‘Best Support Service‘ award from the Money Marketing Awards. We have also won, ‘Best Use of Technology by an Adviser‘ award on the same evening at the Money Marketing Awards 2017.

In February 2017 we were awarded Customer Experience Innovation Firm of the Year in the Finance Monthly Fintech Awards.

In 2017, we  won The Guardian’s Business Partnership Award. Recognising our partnership with the Open University, to create the True Potential Centre for the Public Understanding Of Finance (PUFin). We have committed £1.4 million in a five year programme of financial support for the Centre, with the aim of enhancing the public’s understanding of personal finance issues.

We have been named as Online Technology Provider of the Year in the FSTech Awards 2017. This award recognises another successful year of providing investors with market-leading technology. This prestigious award celebrates excellence and innovation within the UK and EMEA financial services sector.

We were named the 2017 winners of Best Platform Provider (AUM up to £15 billion) at the Schroders UK Platform Awards in September. As an extra set of acknowledgements, we were also commended in our other shortlist categories of: Best Wealth Management Platform, Leading Platform Enabled Retirement Proposition, and Leading Integrated Planning Tool Provider (with our partner Canada Life).

In October 2017 True Potential LLP became double award winners at the Money Age awards. Out of the categories, True Potential LLP are winners of the Innovation in Consumer Finance Award, while True Potential Wealth Management succeeded as being named, Wealth Management Firm of the Year.

2016

In the Money Marketing Awards 2016, we won ‘Best Support Service’ for the fifth year running and ‘Best Use of Technology by an Adviser’ for the fourth time.

In July 2016, True Potential Investor was awarded ‘Best for Innovation’ for impulseSave®  at the lang cat’s Direct Platform Awards 2016, for the second consecutive year.

In September 2016, we were delighted to be announced as a ‘National Champion’ for the UK in the European Business Awards.

In November 2016, we were named in the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50. This is the third year in a row we have been honoured amongst the fastest growing technology companies in the UK, based on revenue growth of 336% over the last four years.

EY Entrepreneur Of The Year - 2015 Regional Award Winner

In 2015, our awards included two from the Moneyfacts Awards 2015, where we were ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best Online Service’ and  ‘Innovation’ categories.

In July 2015 , we were awarded ‘Best for Innovation’ for impulseSave® and ‘Best for User Experience’ for True Potential Investor, both at the lang cat’s Direct Platform Awards 2015.

Last year, we also won Ernst and Young’s Business Services Award, part of the nationally recognised Entrepreneur of the Year programme.

In June 2015, we won ‘Best Support Service’ for the fourth year running and ‘Best Use of Technology by an Adviser’ for the third time at the Money Marketing Awards 2015.

Earlier in the year, we were highly commended in the ‘Best Use of Online Services’ category at the FStech Awards 2015. We also won ‘Best D2C Platform’ for True Potential Investor at the Professional Adviser Awards 2015.

In addition, we were again named as one of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the UK by Deloitte as part of their the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50. We were also listed in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA for the third consecutive year.
